Reliance Jio has restructured some of its plans to offer better data benefits to its Prime users. According to the new plans, non-Jio prime members can’t purchase pre-paid plans over Rs 149 and will have to become a Jio Prime member to use postpaid plans. Moreover, plans above Rs 149 will offer Jio Prime members more data and extra validity on the first recharge. However, customers who have already subscribed to the Jio Summer Surprise offer will not get this extra data and added validity. Reliance Jio has also trimmed the postpaid plans from the original seven plans announced at launch, to three plans with denominations Rs. 309, 509 and 999 respectively.
