Reliance Jio updates prepaid and postpaid plans. Here's what's change
Reliance Jio has restructured some of its plans to offer better data benefits to its Prime users. According to the new plans, non-Jio prime members can’t purchase pre-paid plans over Rs 149 and will have to become a Jio Prime member to use postpaid plans. Moreover, plans above Rs 149 will offer Jio Prime members more data and extra validity on the first recharge. However, customers who have already subscribed to the Jio Summer Surprise offer will not get this extra data and added validity. Reliance Jio has also trimmed the postpaid plans from the original seven plans announced at launch, to three plans with denominations Rs. 309, 509 and 999 respectively. Here the Rs. 309 and Rs. 509 plans replace the previous Rs. 303 and Rs. 499 plans respectively, but the plans remain pretty much the same. After you cross the data limit on your respective plan, whether it is Postpaid or prepaid, the speed will be throttled to 128 Kbps....
